Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Cardiac Device Specialist performs interrogation testing interpretation and programming of Pacemakers and Automatic Internal Cardioverter Defibrillators (AICD). This job uses software (patient electronic medical records and device database) to enter patient data and provide reports for the physicians and patients charts. Uses patient data to make recommendations regarding optimal programming for the patient.
