DescriptionKey Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Routinely conduct (handson) bioanalysis and DMPK studies
- Analyze data and maintain detailed accurate and comprehensible study documentation
- Interpretation of in vitro data derived from assays for internal review and external partners
- Perform data analysis using GraphPad Prism
- Follow University safety protocols (may include use of combustibles biohazardous materials and fluids/tissues).
- Perform calculations involving molarity solutions and serial dilutions.
- Operate and maintain highthroughput semiautomated analytical instruments
- Assist with general laboratory operations including ordering supplies and consumables
- Perform other duties as assigned; assist DMPK lab members with miscellaneous tasks.
- Help maintain the instruments.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in molecular biology biochemistry or a relevant field and
- 2 years laboratory experience in enzymology biochemistry or molecular biology
Qualifications:
- The candidate must have experience in mass spectrometry
- The scientist must have experience in assay design troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Experience with LCMS/MS is preferred and any knowledge of small molecule drug discovery processes and experience in a discovery project is a bonus.
- Excellent ability to work well with others for both team and individualized activities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
