Job Description
Unitrans is seeking to employ a diligent Storeman who will be responsible for receiving storing and issuing of goods against requisitions and recording the distibution thereof. The individual ensures that stock sheets are updated with daily issues and provides receipts as well as administers the daily movement and storage of goods. They will Identify components required for parts lists microfilm etc and obtains same from appropriate bins.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving storing and issuing of goods against requisitions and records these.
- Ensures that stock sheets are updated with daily issues and receipts and administers the daily movement and storage of goods.
- Identifies components required for parts lists microfilm etc and obtains same from appropriate bins.
- Ensure stocks are secure and properly accounted for.
- Ensure and maintain ongoing relationships with the customers.
- Company code of conduct policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Health and safety measures and adhered to at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / Matric / National Senior Certificate
- Experience in a similar role: up to 2 years
