Job Description
Company:
Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Aircraft Composite Mechanic to join our team in San Antonio TX.
Position Responsibilities:
- Aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting repair procedures and replacement of parts
- Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair must have composite repair experience
- Receives technical guidance from supervisor or higherlevel technician
- Enter relevant data in aircraft logs and records.
The position requires the ability to pass an assessment at the end of training cycle.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2 years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role
- 2 years of experience in aircraft mechanical composite component troubleshooting repair procedures and replacement of parts
- 2 years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair
- 2 years of experience with aircraft tools such as micro bonder vacuum gauges heat blankets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 2 years of experience with aerospace technical publications
- 2 years of experience with prioritizing workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects
- Experience presenting to leadership internal and external customers
- Experience with developing and maintaining partnerships with customers stakeholders and peers
