Job Description

Twin Valley Middle/High School is a rural school found in Southern Vermont serving about 180 students in grades 612. Open for the 2425 school year is a SchoolBased Clinician position. Joining Twin Valley offers financial support for supplies supervision and professional development. Twin Valley is currently in the midst of a five year strategic plan which can be found on our website. Currently we are in the midst of three initiatives; social justice and restorative practices. Commitment to these initiatives is essential.The ideal candidate has the following strengths and interests:Cultural competence to develop meaningful trusting relationships with students from all backgrounds. An appreciation for the role of identity in growing and learning Belief that all students can be successfulBuilds strong relationships with families and responds to comments and concerns with sensitivity care and respect while also maintaining confidentiality.Ability to use technology Willingness to support institutional change for the benefit of student achievementCapacity for enthusiastic collaboration with other faculty & staffQualifications:VT LICSW or LMHCResponsibilities may include:Provide Case management for 810 Targeted studentsCoordinate WrapAround Services for intensive social/emotional (nonIEP) Conduct Small Group Counseling/Social Skills Conduct Home visitsCoordinate Family Counseling Serve as a resource for DCF Reporting Serve as a member of the Counseling Team Corespond to students in crisis Consult at the Universal level around Social/Emotional Supports Interested candidates should submit a cover letter resume proof of licensure copies of transcripts and three current letters of references.
