Our client is at the forefront of sustainable agricultural innovation dedicated to improving food production optimizing supply chains and empowering local farmers. They are looking for a dynamic and detailoriented Business Process Engineer with a strong background in agriculture to help streamline their operations enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Full relocation will be provided. Only candidates who speak Afrikaans have a degree and live in the Cape will be considered
Position Overview:
As a Business Process Engineer you will be responsible for analyzing designing and improving the business processes within their agricultural operations. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to implement best practices reduce costs and ensure our processes are scalable sustainable and aligned with industry standards
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Evaluate and optimize key business processes focusing on agricultural production logistics supply chain management and inventory control
Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to identify areas of inefficiency and develop actionable insights for improvement
Collaboration: Work closely with farming teams supply chain managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless process integration and alignment with business goals
Project Management: Lead or support process improvement projects from inception to implementation ensuring timely and effective delivery
Automation: Implement automation solutions where appropriate to reduce manual effort and improve overall process efficiency
Compliance: Ensure that all processes comply with relevant regulations industry standards and environmental best practices
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Process Engineering Agricultural Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Process Engineering Agricultural Engineering or a related field
- Experience with sustainable agricultural practices and innovations
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the agriculture industry
Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in process engineering or business analysis preferably within the agriculture or agribusiness sector
Skills:
- Strong understanding of agricultural production processes supply chains and inventory management
- Proficient in process mapping data analysis and project management methodologies
- Experience with ERP systems and process automation tools
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced crossfunctional team environment
