DSHS ESH Psychiatric Security Nurse
We are building our team of LPN staff who have experience caring for people that have behavioral health conditions. The Psychiatric Security Nurse provides licensed practical nurse (LPN) care and safety oversight within the forensics unit of the treatment facilityEastern State Hospital. Our patients are people with serious or longterm behavioral health conditions who count on us as they work toward healing and growth. Currently we have multiple PSN scheduling opportunities including day swing and night shift fulltime or oncall.
Through your great communication skills you will develop longterm therapeutic relationships with patients. If the situation arises you will safely and therapeutically intervene with patients utilizing assistance from your support team.
Opportunities performed on site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5 premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.
