Reporting to the Finance Optimisation Manager the Finance Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of exceptional healthcare. This isnt just a technical role; its a collaborative one where you will partner with finance and operational users to optimise our core finance systems. You will be a problemsolver providing guidance resolving queries and ensuring data accuracy across systems like Microsoft D365 Power Platforms and Blackline. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our financial operations and support St Vincents mission to provide quality and sustainable health services.

This is a Permanent FullTime opportunity based in our Group Head Office in Brisbane QLD on a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Collaboration with the finance teams to develop and maintain processes and financial reports with the mindset and intention of continuous improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline workflows.
  • Supporting finance teams and operational users by troubleshooting issues and resolving queries as they arise and escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensuring the integrity accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems.
  • System administration and maintenance tasks including maintenance of chart of accounts and assisting with system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Maintaining and supporting the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365 ERP system used by the Hospitals Aged Care and Group Office entities.

Things that work for us:

  • Knowledge and experience in administering finance systems preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blackline and data capture tools.
  • Experience in financial accounting processes and reporting cycles.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting problem resolution and root cause analysis experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps (desirable).
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance Business or Commerce.
  • Project Management experience or certification (desirable).
  • A positive flexible and collaborative working attitude experience working with crossfunctional teams and a focus on continuous growth and improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • D365 Fundamentals certification (desirable).
