Summary
The Fleet Operations Manager at Sanford Health is responsible for overseeing the organizations fleet operations and asset management across the Enterprise. This role is critical for optimizing efficiency safety and sustainability of the fleet and physical assets ensuring alignment with operational and financial goals. The Manager will develop strategies that integrate technology procurement and maintenance solutions to maximize fleet performance and asset utilization while minimizing costs.Job Description
Develop and execute a comprehensive fleet and asset management strategy aligned with the organizations goals.
Oversee the acquisition maintenance and disposal of all fleet vehicles and equipment ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability. Lead initiatives to extend the life cycle of key assets implementing processes to track usage maintenance and disposal in the most costeffective and sustainable manner.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers service providers and other relevant partners. Manage fleet tracking maintenance scheduling and telematics systems to optimize performance. Manage fuel operations to include purchase maintenance and expense allocation.
Drive initiatives to enhance fleet safety including training programs risk assessments and vehicle inspections. Ensure compliance with all local state federal and regulatory requirements including DOT OSHA and environmental standards.
Oversee the management of auto insurance claims related to corporate fleet vehicles. Collaborate with Sanfords Legal department to work with insurance providers and claims adjusters to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims while minimizing costs and liabilities for the company.
Strong communication presentation and influencing skills.Excellent strategic thinking and problemsolving skills.Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work schedule and transition between projects and tasks seamlessly to meet deadlines and business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required. In lieu of education 57 years of experience in fleet management and safety or a related field required.Sanford is an EEO/AA Employer M/F/Disability/Vet.
