The salary range for experienced teachers new to Match is $and is determined by the candidates prior years of fulltime teaching experience. OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESTeaching positions are based at Match Community Day our PreK5 elementary school located on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park. Working hours are MondayFriday 7:00am2:45pm. On Wednesdays all staff stay until 4:30pm for professional development meetings and work time. Teachers are responsible for: Preparing and delivering classroom instruction and support in Match classroomsUpholding high academic and behavioral expectations for students and provide lots of support for getting students there;Communicating regularly and proactively with families;Participating actively in Matchs coaching and professional development programming;Assisting with school programming as needed during noninstructional time; andServing as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School communityQUALIFICATIONS Research has shown that people of color and women are less likely to apply for jobs if they dont believe they meet every one of the qualifications described in a job description.
