SOC Engineer Infrastructure and Test Bench Architecture

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architectthe flows to setup and compile our simulation and emulation environment through a variety of internal/external tools and flows.
  • Maintain infrastructure backbone of the DV environment Perforce branch and LSF.
  • Actas a project curator and work with multiple IPs for deliverable and find resolution to resolve interdependency issues as they are arised.
  • Supervisejunior engineers and executetopdown initiatlives projectoverproject
  • Work with Verification Methodology Team to align cross project direction and enhance VIP reusability.
  • Drivediscussion with functional verification engineers in SOC and IP and firmwareteams and comes up with a testbench infrastructure to faciliate various requirements simulating with RTL microcodeand UVC/BFM.
  • Work with vendors AE to tackle simulation performance issues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possessa Bachelors / Masters degree inEngineering Science/Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer Science
  • 5years of ASIC design verification or DV methodology experience.
  • Strong passion working witha mega size project
  • Familiarwith verilog and system verilog and strong knowledge of C/C perl and ruby
  • Proven experience with testbench infrastructure on SOC ASIC.
  • Must know Objectoriented programming and classbased structure
  • Proven knowledge on how tobuildup a verification testbench using UVM
  • Good understanding of ASIC design fundamentals machine learning and computer architecture
  • Previous experience withSynopsys simulation CAD tool or similar tool Verdi VCS VCLP Lint
  • Proven debugging and problem analysis skills
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Good people and project management skills and organized and methodical with proven ability to plan and execute
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic fastpaced pressure filled environment
