As an Internal Wholesaler in Individual Life Insurance you will provide presale and marketing support for life insurance products. You will actively partner with External Wholesalers and Financial Advisors. With a focus on successfully driving customer engagement and you will have opportunities to practice sales philosophies as well as develop and manage activities. Distribution & Sales delivers life insurance solutions by leveraging our superior talent and capabilities comprehensive footprint and unmatched brand to the partners and markets we serve.

The current EWA for this position is hybrid or remote based on location. If you are able to commute to Hartford CT or Minneapolis MN your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be onsite.

What You Can Expect:

  • Proactively collaborates with External Wholesalers to uncover develop and close life insurance opportunities.
  • Build relationships and create winwin outcomes for your business partners and their respective clients
  • Presents sales concepts via phone or in person
  • Partner with other business units including Case Management Marketing and Advanced Marketing to drive sales
  • Work with diverse teams on challenging projects such as system enhancements standard operating procedures and product and marketing solutions
  • Run Prudential Life Insurance illustrations and explain and educate on the solutions

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to drive results and increase presence and market share in your assigned territory
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Appetite for understanding market trends impacting business
  • Good knowledge of Life Insurance Products
  • Solid understanding of Compliance policies and practices
  • Excellent written oral communication and problemsolving skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels in the organization
  • Exceptional time management skills and detail orientation
  • Enthusiastic team player and selfstarter with the ability to work independently and prioritize work in a fastpaced sales environment
  • Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask between several computer applications while effectively managing a conversation
  • Strong organizational skills and able to stay abreast of rapidly changing information
  • Ability and willingness to deal with change and ambiguity
  • Must exercise sound judgment discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • FINRA SIE and Series 6/7 registration or ability to obtain within 120 days from date of hire

It Would Be A Plus If You Had:

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in the life insurance industry brokerage or financial services sales experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Demonstrated experience with illustration software
  • Industry designations including CLU CHFC and CFP
