Job Description

Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Technician C Sheet Metal / Structural
Job Code: 21805

Job Location: Tulsa OK (Onsite)

Schedule: 5x8

Job Description:

We are hiring a senior sheet metal / structure aircraft mechanic with strong mechanical abilities. Strong experience in aircraft modification sheetmetal and structures working under general supervision and guidance in reading and interpreting aircraft drawings fitting installing and assembly of sheet metal components onto the aircraft.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
  • Performing sheetmetal structural and mechanical modifications
  • Mechanical component disassembly and reassembly troubleshooting system operation and reading tech manuals or other written instructions
  • Prepares and maintains aircraft maintenance records and historical documents
  • Performs inprogress and followup inspections during and upon completion of maintenance actions
  • Researches orders and receives aircraft parts
  • Inventories aircraft support equipment
  • Maintains hand and special tools in a safe and serviceable condition.
  • Annotates equipment/tools inspection and condition documents.
  • Performs serviceability checks prior to operating powered and nonpowered support equipment.
  • Complies with established policies procedures and standards
  • Assists other mechanics/specialists as required
  • Complies with all safety environmental security and housekeeping standards
  • Complies with training requirements
  • Assists in training newly assigned personnel as required
  • Willingness andability to work weekends or overtimeto meet company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years 145 Repair Station experience
  • Minimum 2 yearssheet metal and structural aircraft modification experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • General Aviation experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint)
