Basic Job Functions:
- Show urgency in addressing the needs of the production and support departments within the division
- Perform preventative and proactive maintenance on facility and facility equipment
- Help drive continuous improvements in the business
- Operating powered tools industrial powered equipment and other maintenance equipment.
- Effectively communicating with upstream and downstream Team Members to address safety quality and efficiency issues/concerns
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industrial maintenance experience to include welding overhead crane operation inspection and repair
- CNC programming diagnoses and repair. Specifically related to Hurco mills.
- CAD experience including the ability to create drawings based on reverse engineering of a component.
- Knowledgeable in diagnoses and repair of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic energy systems electric motors and circuits.
- Experience with rollform tooling and assembly.
- Experience with stamping dies.
