Your Job
What this role looks like.
- Developing and implementing a longterm IT transformation strategy and the associated concepts with a focus on retail requirements
- Assuming responsibility for the implementation of strategic IT initiatives and projects to achieve the defined five and tenyear IT targets
- Supporting senior management in strategic decisions by providing options for action recommendations and analyses
- Presenting IT strategy results to senior management and other relevant stakeholders
- Recruiting managing and developing the team as well as providing feedback and coaching to promote the professional development of team members in the strategy area
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
- Bachelors or masters degree in IT computer science economics (with an IT focus) or a related field
- Several years of experience in the conception planning and implementation of strategic IT projects or programmes
- Analytical mindset and the ability to process complex information with a willingness to understand the different perspectives within the IT organisation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
- Convincing demeanour to establish networks and build trusted relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to communicate effectively and skilfully with stakeholders
Desirable extras.
- Experience with large scale transformation projects related to technology and digitalisation ideally in a consulting capacity
- Indepth knowledge of relevant emerging technologies and their potential in a retail business context
