POSITION:

ElementaryLibrary Media Specialist

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Superintendent and Building Principal

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Creating a flexible class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establishing effective rapport with pupils; motivating pupils to develop skills attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for preparation for college careers and citizenship in accordance with each pupils ability; establishing good relationships with parents and with other staff members; other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

EDUCATIONALREQUIREMENTS:

Mastersdegree from fouryear college or university and valid Library Mediacertification.

OTHERREQUIREMENTS:

Regular attendance following a designated work schedule; must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings as required by position responsibilities; must be able to attend and participate in meetings and conferences scheduled.

STARTING DATE:

Beginning of theschool year.

CLOSE DATE:
