Purpose of role
The Pricing Business Analyst plays a critical role in managing global pricing activities for large global accounts and providing insights to drive profitability and growth for the organisation. This position requires a strong analytical mindset excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the global price lists for key customers including implementing price adjustments.
- Develop and maintain pricing models to optimise pricing strategies and drive profitability.
- Support account teams in raw material and pricing discussions providing analysis and scenario modelling.
- Assist the commercial teams with margin management activities to improve profitability.
- Leverage the Power Platform including Power Apps Power Automate and Power BI to develop customised pricing dashboards reports and workflows.
Skills qualifications experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Economics Finance or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Pricing Analyst preferably in a pricing or financial analysis role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to gather analyse and interpret complex data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex pricing concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI & Excel
- Knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI) is highly beneficial.
- Proactive and resultsoriented mindset with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
