Responsibilities
Performs concurrent and retrospective review of medical records to monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care. Performs quality reviews by using medical staff developed hospital criteria. Generates statistical data for and maintains external and internal licensed practitioner performance tracking profiles and records.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 2. Minimum of two 2 years nursing experience. 3. Competent at the intermediate level with Microsoft Office software 4. Experience using various types of health care related computer software
PREFERRED:
1. Experience with Performance Improvement 2. Experience with Medical Staff reappointment 3. Quality Improvement Certification
