Job Description

The Windham Southeast School District (WSESD)/Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is an increasingly diverse community with an ongoing commitment to social justice and antiracism. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work (www.wsesu/socjus). The successful candidate will be able to effectively discuss how they work with historically marginalized demographic groups of students.Academy School is seeking an Academic Support Teacher beginning in the fall of 2025. This position works across grades multiple grades and is a crucial part of our multilayered system of supports. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the MLSS Framework and how it applies to Academic instruction and targeted interventions; in addition to knowledge of early literacy and foundational math concepts. Additionally this person will use data to guide instruction and will help to guide grade level teams in making datainformed instructional decisions. Flexibility good communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential skills for this position. A minimum of five years as a teacher is required. This position is 30 hours per week five days per week.Please apply via schoolspring.
