The estimated base salary range for this role is $76410 to $130640 per year.
Individual pay is based upon location skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors

Reporting to the Tax Manager the Senior Tax Analyst is the primary point of contact for the companys indirect tax matters which requires applying specialized expertise to all aspects of the companys business transactions. The incumbents core responsibilities include overseeing the indirect tax return process (sales and use tax Canadian GST/HST property tax etc. account reconciliations managing indirect tax audits and assistance with tax planning projects as needed. Additionally the Senior Tax Analyst will assist in other areas of tax such as federal and state income tax compliance and reporting.

What Youll Do
- Overseeall aspects of indirect tax matters including compliance account reconciliations audits and business advisory.
- Researchand respondto indirect tax questions from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaintax systems and ensures accurate transactional tax calculation validation.
- Evaluateand adviseon vendorbilled sales tax and tax determinations on business purchases.
- Trackand updateexemptions certificates.
- Coordinatewith the Accounts Payable and Customer Service Teams to ensure proper tax calculations.
- Ownaddressing indirect tax notices and the maintenance of the tax notice database.
- Supportand implement process improvement initiatives within the Tax Department.
- Assist in other areas of the tax department as necessary
What will make you successful
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products.
- Proficiency in sales tax software and technologies (e.g. OneSource).
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Project management skills and time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good oral and written communication and people skills.

- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting Business Administration or a closely related discipline required.
- 3 years of relevant tax experience in either public accounting or a corporate tax department required.
- Experience using SAP and OneStream a plus.
- Experience using ONESOURCE Income Tax and Tax Provision software a plus.
