The School of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University delivers an internationally recognized AVMAaccredited veterinary science program. Clinical pathology plays a vital role integrating specialists in clinical and anatomical pathology a stateoftheart diagnostic lab and microbiology services. Postgraduate students gain handson experience through diagnostic services at our Animal Hospital. With a strong multidisciplinary approach the discipline supports veterinary education graduate training and professional development across Western Australia and beyond.
Your New Role!
A Senior Lecturer within the Clinical or Professional Scholar track is expected to have a record of clinical and professional excellence within the field of veterinary clinical pathology and to have experience in the delivery of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate clinical training. A Senior Lecturer makes a considerable contribution to the Universitys postgraduate supervision and is expected to play leadership roles in university administration and in the disciplines clinical service within the Animal Hospital. This position makes a substantial contribution to all teaching activities within the discipline as well as a substantial contribution to the College and profession.
Your Key responsibilities will include
The role involves leading and contributing to pathology services delivering innovative teaching assessing students and developing course materials. Responsibilities include advancing diagnostic services mentoring students and colleagues integrating research with clinical practice and making a significant impact on veterinary pathology through research and professional engagement.
