Job Description
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Recruit Develop and Mentor technical talent; Primarily experienced Applications Engineers with unique existing expertise spanning multiple products target industries and geographies
- Build and maintain the teams overall expertise and technical leadership on Emerson Test & Measurement products and their applications
- Collaborate with Business Managers Sales Marketing & R&D teams to align the teams to growth strategies and short term business needs
- Engage with sales to drive mutual understanding and prioritization of efforts to achieve shared business goals
- Manage ambiguity and drive change management as business strategy evolves
- Drive engineering excellence in all areas of the team
- Handle special projects or tasks as assigned by management
Who You Are:
You are a highly effective technical engineering leader who efficiently directs teams and mentors staff. You excel in managing complexity optimizing workflows and driving . Your excellent communication skills enable seamless collaboration ensure adaptive responses to challenges and deliver consistent customer success.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 10 years of experience in Engineering
- 5 years of team or project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Willingness to travel (up to 25 both domestic and international
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- 10 years experience managing an engineering application or technical sales team
- 5 years experience managing a distributed team across a larger geographic region
