Job Description

Our Emerging Talent Programs which includes Interns Trainees and Finance Rotational Associates offer unique opportunities for students recent graduates and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies TV shows and other great experiences. These seasonal paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allows you to build on your experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks realworld experience and many educational and social networking opportunities.

This Spring Internship is from January through May 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work parttime hours 1029 a week). Our offices are open Monday through Friday 96 pm. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The WW Marketing and Distribution Team is responsible for global Theatrical Marketing & Distribution Finance as well as HE and TV Marketing Finance as well as financial planning and analysis for Consumer Products LocationBased Entertainment and Virtual Reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with Financial Planning & Analysis activities for all groups under WW Finance Marketing and Distribution group
  • Work with SVP on adhoc projects
  • Work with the Director on the actualization of ultimates
  • Assist with overhead actuals and budgeting
  • Assist the different groups with various Finance adhoc tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree (preferably in Business Economics Finance or Accounting)
  • Excel skills
  • The intern will gain experience/exposure to the following:
  • An understanding of the broader landscape of the film business and how analytics help guide important decision making from greenlight to release
  • Learn the FP&A process (Budgets and quarterly forecasts)
  • Learn how financial systems are used in real business operations

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors including without limitation the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and if applicable the location of the position.
