Qualifications and Skills
The candidate must possess a qualified MBBS degree in addition to DNB MD or MS in Ophthalmology. A valid regional license is mandatory along with 1 to 4 years of experience in the field.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of Director/Consultants.
- Assist Director/Consultants in conducting OPD and clinical activities as specified and per granted privileges.
- Conduct free OPDs and Executive Health Checkups as per privileges under the supervision of consultants.
- Manage casualty cases under the supervision of consultants.
- Collate and analyze records reports test results or examination information to diagnose diseases.
- Prescribe or administer medication therapy and comprehensive medical care to treat or prevent illness under consultants guidance.
- Explain procedures obtain consents and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and families.
- Monitor patients conditions and progress reevaluate treatments as necessary and discuss with the treating Consultant. Refer patients to specialists as required with proper intimation and explanation to the patient/family.
- Coordinate with the admission hub OT staff and billing section for booking OT applicable for all surgeryrelated Clinical Assistants/Associates and HMOs.
