The Opportunity
McInnes Wilson Lawyers is a leading law firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional legal services to clients across a range of industries. Our firm is committed to delivering innovative and practical legal solutions to meet our clients complex needs.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our team in Canberra.
Key Responsibilities
- Core duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Provide advice and guidance to our Government clients on a range of industryspecific commercial matters
- Drafting and negotiating various legal documents including contracts and agreements
- Procurement and tendering
- Conducting legal research and drafting advices to develop effective legal strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 25 years PAE across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters (inclusive of Probity and Procurement)
- A baseline level clearance
- The ability and willingness to go on secondments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively with other solicitors and support staff
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work
