Job Description
Facilitates the strategy formulation processes and activities in consultation with the relevant key stakeholders assists in translating the business strategy into operational plans assists in monitoring the of the strategy and reporting on business performance to help OML to achieve business objectives and attainment of its vision to achieve business goals and objectives.Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis
Interpret the strategic need and identify solution recommendations to strategic challenges at a business unit level. Analyze financial and operational data market trends customer behavior and competitive dynamics to support strategic decision making within the business unit.
Strategic Planning
Manage an element of the organizations strategic planning. This could involve being responsible for development or delivery or both.
Forecasting and Demand Planning
Manage specific segments within forecasting and demand planning implementing strategies to efficiently predict future product demand and optimally adjust production levels.
Business Planning
Develop and propose annual business plans for a given area or department ensuring alignment with strategy. Recommend financial and headcount budgets; propose business targets for example revenues or other key performance indicators (KPIs); and schedule key activities/projects ensuring integration with other elements of the organization.
Information and Business Advice
Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
Insights and Reporting
Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates. Lead of complex reports identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends and translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
Project Management
Deliver small or mediumscale projects while working within an established program management plan.
Strategy Formation and Implementation
Develop tactical plans for optimizing resources and assets being managed within a given area or department.
Data Collection and Analysis
Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
Stakeholder Engagement
Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs issues and concerns; and by reacting to these needs issues and concerns arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an indepth understanding of technology external regulation and industry best practices through ongoing education attending conferences and reading specialist media.
