You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead all financial and administrative functions of the Company. This includes driving financial strategy ensuring statutory compliance overseeing budgeting and planning strengthening internal controls and managing risks and capital projects. The CFO will work closely with the CEO COO senior leadership and the Board to ensure financial sustainability and operational excellence across the organization.
The Company is a leading educational services organization with a rich legacy spanning over a century. It operates a network of schools and preschools across multiple states in India serving approximately 9000 students from Nursery to Grade 12. Offering both State and National curricula the Company emphasizes STEAM educationincluding Robotics Abacus Vedic Maths Music and Performing Artswhile promoting holistic child development through a balanced mix of academic and cocurricular programs.
Develop and execute longterm financial strategies aligned with the Companys vision and goals.
Lead the preparation of fiveyear rolling plans annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide actionable insights through monthly and quarterly financial reports variance analyses and sustainability projections.
Ensure timely and accurate accounting reporting and completion of statutory audits.
Maintain compliance with legal and statutory requirements including the Companies Act Income Tax Act and FCRA.
Implement and monitor strong internal financial controls across all operational units.
Oversee key financial functions including revenue collection financial reporting and payroll processing.
Ensure all financial reports comply with regulatory standards and accepted accounting practices.
Collaborate with the COO to manage funds cash flows and investments.
Optimize capital deployment and maintain strong banking relationships.
Serve as the Risk Manager for the Company including its managed units.
Lead risk identification assessment and mitigation efforts across departments.
Review and oversee legal contracts with thirdparty vendors and capital partners.
Monitor the financial aspects of construction and infrastructure projects.
Oversee fund utilization tendering contracting and legal due diligence.
Support the Board of Directors.
Uphold governance best practices and ensure transparent boardlevel financial reporting.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Works Accountant (ICWA/CMA)
Additional credentials such as CS or MBA (Finance) are a plus.
1525 years of progressive financial leadership experience ideally in the education nonprofit or servicedriven sectors.
Strong knowledge of statutory compliance financial reporting and risk management.
Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage complex financial systems.
Excellent spreadsheet and database skills with working knowledge of legal contracting.
