Your Mission
The mission of theKey Account Manageris to help execute the Puratos sales strategy to reach the agreed profitable sales goals across your assigned customer base of large industrial bakeries and Foodservice/QSRs. The Key Account Manager should leverage sales support tools to drive valueadded product innovations to customers as well as coordinate and provide operational demand needs to be able to uphold superior service levels.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual commercial plansfor assigned customers in line with company vision (prioritizing the right customers & products)
- Build and achieve sales budget and objectivesusing CRM for daily management of customer projects.
- Prospect new customers & close deals quickly togrow profitable sales
- Work closely withcrossfunctional resourceswith focus on driving new business and growing existing accounts
- Provide timely and accuratemonthly forecaststhrough IBP and PowerBI tools
- Optimize and manage pricing and marginswith support of central pricing team.
- Serve as acollaborativeteammateon the sales team providing ideas support & line of sight to territory activity (successes hurdles market insights)
Market Knowledge:
- Leverage Puratos unique tools for customer engagement:
- Sensobusfor insights
- Innovation Centersfor collaboration and innovation
- ProprietaryTaste Tomorrowfor identifying future trends.
- Represent region in relevant professional associations and industry specific groups to further business and our employees
- Grow and maintain foundational knowledge in market conditions market trends competitive activities customers product and service needs economic conditions and regulatory issues
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 5 years related sales experience preferably within food or CPG industry
- Proven track record in key account management with demonstrated ability to leverage internal resources and connect these with those of the customer.
- Experience with large complex customers; Retail Foodservice/QSR a plus
- Strong sales and profile with financial acumen and problemsolving skills
- Indepth knowledge of Marketing and Sales decisionmaking processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Detailoriented with strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excel SAP IBP and CRM software
