Job Description
Amazon is hiring for Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) Technicians to join our Maintenance & Engineering team at our Delivery Station in Heathwood Brisbane for Night Shift.
Please note that the current shift pattern includes 10hour shifts x 4 days and one day working during the weekend.

Key job responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out.
React quickly to breakdowns communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue.
Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
A day in the life
Our RME Technicians are based onsite so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues. Youll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites equipment to make sure its working safely. As an RME Technician youll also respond promptly to breakdowns investigating finding and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. Youll also make suggestions for longterm improvements.
Working alongside senior colleagues youll undertake daytoday maintenance tasks general building maintenance.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best. Were a technically minded team made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres.
Formal Trade Qualifications: Certificate lll in Electrotechnology /Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner) with valid Electrical Mechanic/ Electrical Fitter licence. Alternatively equivalent trade qualifications formally recognised in Australia including valid licence.
Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
Experience fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems
Ability to read and understand electrical /mechanical drawings
Experience of conveyor maintenance motor controllers/inverters
Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations

Experience of computer maintenance systems (CMMS)
Experience of sortation machines
Experience in an industrial environment
Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners
Experience of print and apply machines
