Our Childhood to Livelihood programme works with adolescents and young people aged 12 to 24 years impacting over 1 million youth across 24 states and 75 districts in India. With 240 Community Learning Centres 80 Livelihood Centres and 8 Entrepreneurship Incubation Centres we provide education employability skills and entrepreneurial mentorship to create sustainable opportunities for underserved communities.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Placement Officer/Placement Coordinator to join our team focusing on enhancing employability and securing job placements for our beneficiaries. This is a midlevel fulltime position based in Hyderabad Chennai or Bangalore Urban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking communication and recruitment and will be committed to supporting our mission to enable youth to break free from poverty.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in networking (Mandatory skill).
- Exemplary communication skills (Mandatory skill).
- Recruitment experience (Mandatory skill).
- Strong relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to foster connections with employers and stakeholders.
- Competent in data analysis to track and report on placement activities and outcomes.
- Effective negotiation skills to secure job opportunities for programme beneficiaries.
- Problemsolving abilities to address and overcome placementrelated challenges.
- Sales skills to advocate for programme participants and their potential to prospective employers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with educational institutions employers and community organizations to identify and secure job placement opportunities for programme participants.
- Lead recruitment drives job fairs and campus placements to connect beneficiaries with suitable job openings.
- Provide career counseling and guidance to participants assisting them in making informed career choices.
- Maintain accurate records of placements and provide regular reports to management on placement outcomes and challenges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to understand their hiring needs and promote the organizations trainees as potential employees.
- Monitor and support the postplacement progress of beneficiaries to ensure their successful integration into the workforce.
- Organize training workshops and sessions to enhance the employability skills of participants.
- Continuously assess and improve placement strategies to maximize successful outcomes for programme recipients.
