The Division of Rehabilitation Services is seeking to hire a Plumber to perform journey level work in the installation maintenance and repair of sanitary fixtures devices and assemblies fluid transmission systems sewage systems and piping tubing or other conduit systems in accordance with the applicable laws rules and codes of the State of Illinois at the Illinois School of the Visually Impaired (ISVI). Measures cuts and threads pipe using stocks and dies power threading machines power saws wrenches and pipe machines. Instructs individuals in the performance of plumbing assignments. Maintains school water heater and softeners. Directs trenching excavating and back filling operations necessary to begin or continue work on underground installations or assists others in performance of same.
Upon employment employee will be subject to Tuberculin (TB) Skin Test.
Requires ability to pass the IDHS background check.
Requires ability to pass a drug screen for prohibited from recreational use under Illinois Law.
