Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department you will be responsible for installing repairing and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential structures.
- Install repair and maintain pipes valves fittings drainage systems and fixtures in various buildings
- Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize future problems and extend the life of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with other maintenance professionals on multidisciplinary projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients and team members
- Assist in light construction carpentry and related tasks as needed
- Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and tools requisitioning materials as necessary
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Plumber in commercial and/or residential settings
- Indepth knowledge of plumbing systems water distribution and waste removal
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations in Qatar
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to think critically in highpressure situations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform plumbing tasks in various environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to plumbing work
- Detailoriented approach with a commitment to delivering highquality work
- Flexibility to work in different weather conditions including hot climates
- Valid drivers license and ability to operate company vehicles when required
- Customerfocused attitude with a pleasant personality
- Organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
