The Position
The purpose of this site senior leadership role is to effectively interact with internal (across sites and functions) and external stakeholders. This role will guide and oversee process chemistry activities from the laboratory through all development phases up to commercial product delivery and entails leading and developing a diverse team to collectively achieve area and project objectives while also driving the R&D team to support the site in meeting production targets. A successful manager in this role must possess a combination of skills including the ability to lead crossfunctional groups comprehend supporting roles ask insightful questions manage expectations through clear communication and detect unstated assumptions. Central to the role is the requirement to understand process chemistry lead and guide the R&D team to reach its full potential and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines set by relevant agencies.

Physical Requirements
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10 of the time. can change on a casebycase basis based on the role.
Development of People
Supervisory
Ensure that reporting personnel have individual development plans (IDP) with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process.
Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.
Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies procedures and Novo Nordisk Way.
