Drive impactful healthcare innovation through data. As the Head of Data & Analytics and reporting directly to the National Director Healthcare Platforms you will lead the strategic development and application of data and analytics to achieve our Strategy 2030 goals and enhance patient care. You will lead the development and implementation of the Data and Analytics vision and roadmap oversee the Data & Analytics technology stack and champion a strong data governance framework.

This is a Permanent Full Time position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney Brisbane or Melbourne on a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and execute a cuttingedge Data & Analytics roadmap leveraging AI RPA IoT and emerging technologies to transform patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with clinicians executives and technology leaders to unlock the power of data across public hospitals private hospitals aged care and virtual care.
  • Champion advanced analytics and AI strategies that empower decisionmaking enhance outcomes and deliver measurable value across St Vincents.
  • Build and lead a highperforming team while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to build internal Data & Analytics capabilities across St Vincents

Things that work for us:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a leadership role within the Data & Analytics field ideally in healthcare.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful D&A strategies with a focus on healthcare applications including Tier 1 EMRs.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles data security best practices and compliance regulations in healthcare.
  • Experience building and managing highperforming data science and analytics teams.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a passion for innovation in healthcare.
  • Proven experience working with agile and product management methodologies.
  • A positive flexible and collaborative working attitude with experience working with crossfunctional teams promoting a safe and collaborative environment and a focus on continuous growth and improvement.
  • Tertiary degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field and Certified Health Informatician Australasia (desirable).
