Job Summary
Putaway inventory in the warehouse using a standup forklift.
Replenishing pick bays in warehouse using a standup forklift.
This will be a 2nd shift position. 3:30pm until work is completed. Sunday Thursday
Position Responsibilities
- A Putaway Person is responsible for all putaways for Valley Bakers and Progressive Warehousing including dry frozen and cooler products.
- A Replenisher is responsible for all replenishments (restocking) pick bays for including dry frozen and cooler products.
- Operate a stand up forklift.
- Other responsibilities include cleaning bays repairing damaged product and repairing damaged rack labels.
- Display regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work effectively in temperatures reaching 10 degrees F.
- Must be able to work in moderate conditions of confined spaces high elevations noise safety equipment and slippery surfaces.
- Ability to continuously balance stoop kneel and crouch.
- Frequent walking standing and use of hands and fingers.
- Must be able to lift 3550 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds from ground and or high elevations.
- Must be physically able to drive.
