Ensuring Charts Success
Howden Maintenance Partners is part of Chart industries and is a growing service company within the group specializing in the maintenance repair and overhaul of industrial machines both electrical and mechanically rotating. Think of electric motors pumps gearboxes generators steam turbines turbochargers reciprocating compressors and expanders. This can be done at the customers site or in one of our branches.

As a welder at our location in Zwijndrecht you will be responsible fulltime for various welding techniques including TIG semiautomatic MIG MAG and electrode welding. In addition your tasks also include the management of a welding robot.
What Your DaytoDay Activities Will Be
- Reading and interpreting written assignments: jobinfo / customer instructions OMS;
- You will perform mechanical measurements: micrometer / caliper / hardness tester;
- Good knowledge of ferrous and nonferrous materials;
- Welding Tig / Mig / Arc Flash and Oxyfuel Oxyfuel Cutting;
- Handling a welding robot.
Your Education Should Be
- You have a training in welding supplemented with practical experience;
- You have at least a first work experience behind you;
- You can read and interpret the plan;
- You have knowledge of Tig Mig Arcand/or oxyfuel welding;
- You have a very good command of Dutch and have a good knowledge of English or vice versa.
Your Professional Experience Should Be
- You have a strong affinity with the industrial sector (chemicals petrochemicals power...;
- You have a lot of passion for your job and you are interested in the latest developments in your field;
- You are a team player but can also work well independently your strong communication skills help you with this;
- You get a boost by working in new environments every time;
- Organization flexibility and independence are your middle names;
