Integrated Product Team Leader B52 RMP Avionics IPT Lead

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Mobility Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) has exciting opportunities for an Integrated Product Team Leader (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City OK to support the B52J Radar Modernization Program (RMP) segment. We are seeking leaders for Avionics Integrated Product Team IPT).


A unique opportunity awaits to help develop and implement the IPT structure for the RMP segment. The IPT leader will be responsible for delivering an integrated product to the respective segment. This will require close coordination with our engineering capability leaders as well as all functions within the organization. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented biased towards action and proactive in problem solving and coordination.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
  • Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan.
  • Manages develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance PostStart is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience leading through influence and partnering with crossfunctional teams on projects transactions or initiatives
  • 3 years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
  • 3 years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
  • 3 years of experience with RIO (Risks Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
  • 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • 8 years of experience leading through influence and partnering with crossfunctional teams on projects transactions or initiatives
  • 5 years of experience managing risks cost performance and schedule performance
  • 5 years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
  • 3 years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
  • 3 years of experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders (i.e. business partner customer Finance suppliers) in planning and executing projects
  • 5 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Active U.S. Secret (or higher) Clearance

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 25 domestically
