Purchase Engineer
Location: Ajanta Bottle Pvt Ltd B 226 Phase 1 Naraina Industrial Area Phase 1 Delhi110028
Contact:
Salary CTC 2.88 LPA
Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers/vendors for required materials goods and services. Learn to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable pricing quality and delivery terms.
Support in issuing purchase orders and contracts based on approved requisitions and agreements.
Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Learn to evaluate supplier performance based on criteria such as quality delivery reliability and costeffectiveness.
Assist in maintaining accurate records of purchases pricing and inventory levels.
Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
Learn to analyze market trends pricing and supplier capabilities to make informed purchasing decisions.
Participate in vendor meetings conferences and negotiations under the guidance of senior purchasing staff.
Assist in implementing costsaving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
Comply with company policies procedures and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
Maintain professional and positive relationships with suppliers internal stakeholders and team members.
Participate in training programs and educational opportunities to enhance procurement knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
Pursuing B Tech (Mechanical) or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Previous procurement experience or coursework is advantageous.
