No degree: 10 years of network infrastructure experience
Preferred Education:
Bachelors degree: 8 years of experience
Preferred Certifications:
Networking: CCNP CCIE JNCIP JNCIE
Security: CISSP CISM CompTIA Security
Cloud: AWS/Azure Networking
Project Management: PMP ITIL
Required Technical Skills:
Cisco/Juniper/Aruba networking
TCP/IP BGP OSPF VLANs VPNs
Firewall management (Palo Alto Fortinet)
Hands-on cabling/racking experience
Basic scripting (Python/Ansible)
Preferred Skills:
SD-WAN Zero Trust Architecture
Cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
Load balancers (F5) NSX
Advanced automation (Terraform CI/CD)
Job Responsibilities:
Design deploy and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/SD-WAN)
Perform hands-on installation cabling racking and physical troubleshooting
Work in data center environments (climbing ladders lifting equipment as needed)
Lead IT infrastructure projects from planning to completion
Manage third-party vendors and enforce SLA compliance
Ensure timely delivery of vendor deliverables
Troubleshoot complex network issues
Maintain network documentation and operational procedures
Ensure compliance with security standards (NIST ISO 27001 PCI-DSS)
Provide monthly project updates to leadership
Work with cross-functional teams (cybersecurity engineering facilities)
