Job Description
In the Nordics we provide the widest range of smart solutions in the rail market from innovative highspeed rolling stock metros and trams to maintenance modernisation infrastructure and signalling. Employing 2500 people in our offices in Sweden Denmark Norway and Finland as well as 20 train services depots across the Nordics.

The programme takes place in our offices from Sweden Norway or Denmark depending on your location.

What Will You Do
We offer multiple opportunities within our Services Rolling Stock or Digital and Integrated Solutions Business product lines.
You will complete12 months development programmewhilst providing a tangible contribution to the success of the team.The programme starts on 1st September 2025.
- You will undertakefour rotations of three monthseach around the various departments andlocations of the company gaining an understanding of the business and the service operation lifecycle through participating in strategic projects. Developing your knowledge during your time at Alstom is key along with developing your skills and experience.
- The first and last rotation will be in yourbase locationwhich matches best your background and interest. In Sweden this can be Stockholm or Vsters.
- The program aims the possibility of aninternational rotationwithin our Nordics organisation.
- As agroup of graduates you will have the chance to come together a couple of times and exchange experience learn about theAlstom valuesthrough inspirational workshops and work together on agroup assignment.
You will have the opportunity to complete on the job learning which is complemented by a personal development programme. Supported by a mentor you will gain cross functional experience and understanding of the organization.
Who are we looking for
- You are about to graduate or have graduated within the last two years with amasters degree in engineering.
- Background in the following programs or similar:
- Railway engineering or systems
- Electrical/Electronic engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- System Engineering
- Computer science
- Fluent in one of Scandinavian languages and in English.
- Fast learning and combining problemsolving skills with a cando attitude desire for improvement and a passion for making things happen.

- After a first screening of your resume you will receive an invitation to complete online (logical thinking & personality) tests if you meet the requirements above.
- When matching our profile there will be a short video interview on Microsoft Teams.
- Finally a group of candidates will be invited to our office in Stockholm or Vsters for final interviews and assessments.
In a final stage we will offer this opportunity immediately as a permanent contract. The graduate programme will take 12 months to complete. Based on that experience we will explore together the best suitable position for you within our organization.
