Job Description
The following position will be available for theschool yearTitleStudent Services Director260 Working DaysSalary per Administrative Salary ScheduleReports To:SuperintendentQualifications :Masters DegreeAdministrative LicenseExtensive knowledge in writing and monitoring IEPs and 504 PlansWorks Well and Communicates effectively with Staff and CommunityPrevious Experience working with Students with Disabilities PreferredPrevious Administration Experience PreferredGeneral Duties:Facilitates ongoing development and implementation of a unified district vision for education student with disabilities English language learners and atrisk students.Provides leadership direction and oversight in the development and successful delivery of the districts special education services.Monitors the academic achievement and instruction of students with disabilities.Coordinate physical therapy occupational therapy preschool program school psychological services speech and language services and other services for students with learning disabilities.Serves as the districts compliance officer.Serves as the districts Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP) of unified grants Administrator.Ensures that special education staff are following state model policies and procedures.
