As the Risk and Assurance Leader you will spearhead the daytoday risk and assurance activities at the account level. You will also lead the Workforce Development (WFD) Integrated Business Management System focusing on Quality and Environmental management.

In return you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our risk and assurance processes working within a team committed to excellence in Quality and Environmental management. There are also opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement.

Job Description:

What youll be doing:

  • Lead Risk and Assurance Management:Oversee safeguarding health safety and environmental management as part of our ISO accreditation activities.

  • Develop and Maintain Plans:Create and deliver the WFD risk assurance and compliance plans working within Group Risk and Assurance frameworks.

  • Operational Excellence:Manage the Compliance Working Group for WFD covering Quality Environmental and Information Security management.

  • Ensure Compliance:Conduct necessary checks to maintain WFD account compliance with contractual legislative and Capita policies.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement:Log and address nonconformance areas and opportunities for improvement identified through audits compliance checks incidents and complaints.

  • Risk Management:Maintain Business Unit risk registers and facilitate risk assurance and control checks in partnership with the divisional risk team.

  • Reporting:Provide regular submissions to the Account/Sector Risk & Assurance committee and support other reporting requirements.

What were looking for:

  • Knowledge of Enterprise (Group) Risk frameworks

  • Knowledge of relevant Quality and Environmental legislation

  • Understanding of Quality and Environmental management

  • Experience of internal audits and compliance reviews and aware of best practice approaches in this area

  • Experience of being part of a team completing indepth reviews and ensuring actions for improvement are recommended and embedded

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills

  • Understanding of ISO accreditations including maintenance and management of certifications

  • First Party Auditor qualified / experience leading internal audits and compliance reviews and aware of best practice approaches in this area

  • Experience in the management of AI and GenAI tools from a Risk and Compliance perspective an advantage
