Were looking for a Retail Marketing Director to join our team!
We are seeking a dynamic highly driven Retail Marketing Director to bridge the gap between our internal marketing department and the individual marketing teams of the premier malls where our stores are located. This role is vital in aligning instore activations with digital strategy ensuring brand consistency and maximizing visibility both online and offline. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator strategic thinker and handson executor who thrives in both boardrooms and retail floors.
1. Mall & Retail Partner Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison with the marketing directors of all malls where we operate 20 locations).
Collaborate to plan and execute inmall activations seasonal events popups and partnership campaigns.
Coordinate malllevel marketing initiatives including:
Billboard placements
Digital signage
Social media crosspromotion
Website integrations on mall platforms
Inclusion in mall newsletters gift guides and influencer programs
2. Integrated Marketing Strategy
Partner with the internal marketing team to seamlessly integrate physical retail strategies with digital marketing campaigns.
Ensure alignment between corporate branding and local instore experiences.
Track analyze and report on the effectiveness of omnichannel campaigns adjusting tactics based on realtime data.
3. LocationSpecific Market Research Events &
Travel frequently to all retail locations to:
Build strong relationships with store managers
Work with internal teams to execute monthly events in all stores
Conduct onsite audits and identify hyperlocal marketing opportunities
Analyze the surrounding environment (residential vs. commercial) to tailor campaigns per location
Collaborate with local businesses and property managers for crosspromotions or community activations
4. Marketing ROI & Performance Reporting
Maintain a clear calendar of activations campaigns and seasonal efforts.
Evaluate campaign performance metrics by location.
Create strategic recommendations based on foot traffic sales data demographic insights and customer feedback.
5 years of experience in retail marketing with a strong focus on brickandmortar locations experiential marketing or mallbased retail.
Proven ability to develop and execute instore events seasonal campaigns and crosspromotional partnerships.
Experience working with mall marketing teams and property managers to coordinate promotional activities.
Deep understanding of how to align physical retail with digital strategy for a cohesive brand experience.
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data (foot traffic sales performance customer behavior) to drive decisionmaking.
Willingness to travel frequently and work closely with local store teams.
Exceptional collaboration communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
A handson proactive mindsetable to balance strategic planning with ontheground .
Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field (Masters degree a plus).
