At Hellas Restaurant were looking for a passionate and motivated Floor Manager to help lead our FrontofHouse (FOH) team. While we dont expect you to have all the answers from day one were seeking someone who is eager to learn grow and thrive in a fastpaced highvolume environment. With at least two years of experience in a similar role we value leaders who are committed to providing excellent service and creating a positive teamoriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service flow.
  • Monitor guest experiences address concerns and resolve issues quickly to maintain high service standards.
  • Review and act upon guest feedback and complaints.
  • Conduct daily checks on FOH cleanliness quality and adherence to standards.
  • Monitor employee performance conduct reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage scheduling reservations and station assignments.
  • Ensure employees maintain a professional appearance including proper uniforms.
  • Oversee FOH maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Check out servers bartenders and bakery sales associates resolving any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Adhere to company attendance policy and dress code.
  • Assist with additional duties as needed to support the team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude high motivation and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a highvolume fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to build trust and inspire your team to achieve positive results.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and problemsolving under pressure.
  • Lead by examplemotivating coaching and developing team members.
  • Ability to actively contribute to the management team to improve business operations.
  • Familiarity with serving hosting bussing expo and bartending to provide support and training when necessary.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar management role with a proven track record in managing cost and labor controls.
  • Hospitality management degree preferred but candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Food Manager Certification required.

Other:

  • The noise level in the work environment is high.
  • The work environment is climate controlled.
  • Must possess the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job the function is mostly standing for long periods of time.
  • The employee must be able to regularly walk and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects tools or controls.
  • The employee is frequently is required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop kneel or crouch.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
