Job Description
We are seeking a motivatedFloor Technician.
As the Floor Tech you will maintain floor & carpet maintenance stripping & waxing buffing & scrubbing. You will also assist the maintenance department with maintaining the repair needs of the facility and room moves as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming
- Carpet cleaning floor and carpet maintenance. Stripping and waxing floors. Floor buffing and scrubbing. Carpet and hard surface floor refinishing
- Ensure proper use of chemicals supplies and equipment
- Trash removal clean and stock breakrooms and restrooms
- Dust furniture walls machines and equipment
- Clean and polish windows and other surfaces
- Unload stock truck as needed
- Follow Federal and State Regulations and Fire Safety
- Monitor building security and safety by locking doors
- Maintain safety procedures by using cleaning equipment/supplies according to company policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1 year of floor care experience preferred.
- At least 1 year long-term care experience preferred.
- Must be able to operate various cleaning machines.
- Experience in Housekeeping Maintenance Flooring and Janitorial services.
- Ability to bend stoop stand walk reach.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
Ability to Drive Facility Passenger Van- Valid Drivers License- Good Drivers License
