Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Draughtsperson to join a leading manufacturer of precisionengineered products. In this role you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using computeraided design (CAD) software.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs for mechanical equipment and controls.
- Provide details on component descriptions.
- Collect initial drawings calculations and design ideas from engineers and combine all relevant data into coherent and complete initial design models for review and modification
- Coordinate with and consult other workers to design layout or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
- Test and document aircraft components and assemblies testing.
Requirements
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Draughting Diploma or Certificate
- AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP Certification
- 35 Years wet services and fire design experience
- Knowledge of basic design principles and applications of wet services and fire systems
