What does a ETL Developer do
An ETL Developer specializes in managing the flow of data by designing and implementing ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes. They extract data from multiple sources transform it into a usable format through cleaning and structuring and load it into databases or data warehouses. ETL Developers ensure data accuracy optimize performance and maintain workflows supporting business intelligence reporting and analytics by making large datasets accessible and reliable for decisionmaking
Job description
Minimum 3 years of experience in data integration engineering and database development.
Strong knowledge of data warehousing relational/dimensional modeling and ETL processes.
Familiarity with Data Vault concepts.
Experience in data integration across various applications.
Skilled in developing testing and supporting data integration solutions.
Proficient in SQL Server TSQL SSIS and C#.
Experience with APIs (SOAP REST).
Knowledge of AWS technologies (Glue Lambda Redshift S3 Databricks).
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (waterfall agile etc. is a plus.
Willingness to learn new technologies like Workato and Boomi.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to document technical solutions clearly.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science P or other related field required.
