Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Student Union Administrative Assistant is the main assistant to the Student Union Services Director and manages the Directors daily administrative operations including but not limited to the following: - Gathering availabilities and scheduling meetings
- Completing reimbursement paperwork on behalf of the Director
- Liaising with the different divisions of the Student Union
- Creating and distributing signage to educate staff on policies and goals
- Researching best practices of Student Unions in California and nationally
- Maintaining and organizing Student Union records
- Arranging travel and accommodations for business trips
- Inventorying office supplies and ensuring equipment is operational
- Submitting and managing catering orders for Student Union events
- Leading special projects alongside other student staff

- Student will demonstrate leadership skills by creating new training materials and identifying process and policy efficiencies across divisions

- Good academic standing
