Great opportunity for an energetic person who can comfortably take on challenges in unfamiliar areas and has excellent communications skills. This role would be to support the Travel and Expense Applications the main application is Concur however we do have several applications built on the agile point platform which we are responsible for working with the customer and driving the requirements and testing needs with the development team. For Concur we help to daily validate the interface errors and work with different Data stewards from the many ERP systems connected to Concur to correct the needed items.
Job Description:
- Responsible for working/troubleshooting support tickets concerning Travel and Expense Applications such as Concur and Concur Mobile App.
- Responsible for updating knowledge articles for the Travel and Expense IT support processes
- Responsible for the recording/monitoring daily for the interfaces between Concur and other Systems.
- Work with a broad multidisciplined user base to support system change requirements develop functional specifications and support project
- Responsible for adhoc projects and to provide guidance measure deliverables and communicate with multiple levels within the organization is a desired competency.
- Responsible for working across teams to find answers to users issues as it concerns travel and expense.
Required Skills:
- Typically a Minimum 2 years experience supporting financial software applications and a bachelors degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
- Ability to work efficiently with EXCEL vlookups pivots macros
- Ability to work a shift schedule covering 3am till 11am CT
- Ability to work well with Global team members and customers.
- A good understanding of technology and ability to support custom apps interms of requirements gathering and testing
- Experience with the IT life cycle: Requirements/Analysis Design Specification Code/Configuration Development Testing Change Management Sustain and Optimize
- Demonstrated Project Management proficiency
- Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable and optimal solutions
- Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills
- Critical thinker coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills adding energetic input within a team environment
- Detail Oriented with the ability to appropriately balance priorities deadlines and deliverables
- Potential to assume responsibility for adhoc projects that may require manpower resources during critical times
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Incident and Knowledge Modules
- Functional finance experience
- Fluent with Microsoft Tool Suite
- A Continuous improvement mindset to help streamline processes.
- Experience with Agile framework and Toolset: JIRA
Required Education:
Typically a Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
