Job Description
Candidates must have either a BTech / BEng degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or similar qualification to secure.
- BTech / BEng degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics or similar qualification.
- Valid drivers license essential.
- 25 years experience in electrical circuit and automation design of machinery and PLC Equipment.
- Electrical CAD package knowledge will be advantageous. Eplan P8 is preferred.
- Experience with Electrical Drives and Machinery.
- Experience in Siemens TIA Portal Step 7 Alternate PLC programming software Allen Bradley compact Logix will be an advantage but not a requirement.
- Design electrical circuits for automation systems according to prescribed standards.
- Electrical commissioning of equipment.
- Electrical Panel layout.
- Producing detailed electrical automation drawings.
- Provide technical support during building processes customer support support on imported equipment and technical support for technicians onsite.
- Provide Electrical documentation.
- Component sourcing.
